Because of his investment, he earned Yaemori's respect and her strategic support to help him land Chizuru as a girlfriend. I gotta admit Yaemori has been a very good mediator for him (even helped Chizuru rethink and confirm Kazuya does indeed like her which is a huge step to him having a chance).
