It's sad how some are taking marriage so lightly, it's a contract, for better or worse you are a couple! Granted there are some cases where both parties are miserable and can no longer live as one and need to get a divorce. However if one or both parties are willing to make an effort to make this marriage/contract work then I give them credit. It's not so easy to break a binding contact of any kind so why should breaking a marriage be as easy? For those who think poof "let's get a divorce and be done with our/their marriage" they really shouldn't get married. People make terrible mistakes, the length of their suffering does not determine the depths of their suffering. I believe he has learned his lesson, knows what mistakes he made and is given the chance will redeem himself. I also agree that giving in to him to easily isn't a good thing, she needs to know he's serious and by holding out she will see that he's changed.
