My analysis and speculation: Michel only fell for Ain because he was not what he expected. He was preparing himself to be able to love an ugly, rich bas****, but instead got a "caring", beautiful man that was willing to do anything to satisfy the new Lord (keep in mind Ain was doing this because he was ordered to, not because he has feelings; therefore, he had no intensions of going beyond what is platonic). The feelings Michel has have only been there for a month or two and is probably just a simple crush. I think Ain should act as a grown-up (since he is older and everything) and even if he likes Michel, he should reject him.
