Herdine called for a hypnotist to try recover Blair's memories of the night of the fire broke out at Empress's Palace but that memory was so painful for Blair. she cried, retched, unable to breathe properly and so Herdine told the hypnotist to stop the procedure but the hypnotist was stubborn and kept on tormenting Blair mentally right in front of Herdine. Herdine grabbed the hypnotist's collar and told him to stop the procedure immediately and fired the hypnotist.

Blair ran away leaving everything away at midnight when Herdine went out for some other business thanks to the guild's master that was helping Blair in her runaway plot (ch 99-110 ish??) this scene was quite intensed because while she was running away with the guild's master, Herdine actually caught her in the middle of a crowd but the guild's master was quicker and they managed to escape. this is where Herdine started to grovel, realising his feelings that he actually loves her bla bla bla so yeah Blair escaped to another town and started becoming a language teacher for little children. she went missing out of Herdine's life for about 2 months. And during this runaway plot, Blair is already pregnant and Herdine is also aware of her pregnancy

ML" using black magic, ro control his mana curse and there is an imprint on MC what helping him to maintain his control and I think prolong his life (?) , but he fear tha he cannot control it so he never go home blahblahblah, just the usual sh** "she don't need to know it in this way I can protect her" sh!t And yes he was the one who turned back the time. (ch 137) After the regression he still a garbage, an obsessed garbage. They made a contract, that after he obtaining every evidence for the reopening of the case of the late empress they divorce. He blatantly disrespecting the contract, and he having a delusion that their relationship and marriage is not bad.... (ch. 92 the girl just wanna see her baby:cry:) want to use her more like at the trial and he breaking his promise with that, he is unwilling to divorce, so she run away (novel ch 99-100) not long before the trial, sadly she was fould pretty soon (ch 113). He don't remember to the past life till novel ch. 134. After then he belived if he say "sorry, I always loved you" everything is going to be ok. But nope FL didn't forgive that easily.

The first part of the side stories are mostly about the birth of their child, Asiel who shows up even in the current timeline. Blair at first felt sad because even though the baby looks the same, he technically isn't him. Asiel appears to grow faster and act more mature than his age would suggest. Although he loved the maid, Ruth, and his mother, he would cry whenever the ML appeared. Blair feels guilty, thinking it was because of the negative emotions she felt towards the ML during the pregnancy. One night she talks to her baby, and said essentially that she is sorry and that she knows "Daddy loves Mommy," so he doesn't need to be terrified of him. After that Asiel stopped crying whenever he sees him.

Herdine has always loved Blair, but because of his black magic cursed mana, he had to get away from Blair. the curse shorten Blair’s lifespan. the closer he stayed with Blair, the shorter her lifespan is. so he went on a voyage trying to find a way on how to break the cursed.
