I get your point here but I can't get though the fact y'll are minimizing what happened between them because he had a hard past. Everyone handle their trauma their own way but in the process nothing justify their bad behavior, decisions and attitude.
1. Dan was FORCED to sign that contract because he was in a vulnerable posture and Jaekyung KNEW it and it didn't stop him from treating him bad, being rough in bed etc let not rewrite the storyline here. It indeed was r*pe / humiliation from the very beginning of their relationship, he was thinking about his own pleasure.
2. He may have had a fcked up past, it will never justify what he did, said or how he treated Dan. Jaekyung is a despicable character even if he have a redemption arc, it took 3 seasons and decenies for him to fix whatever is wrong with him.
