@ShadowX Its not a Harem technically, until MC accepts their feelings. Often the MC is pursued by many women, and he ends up with 1 only

@SomeAB No technically it is... Harem is when multiple girls who are important characters are interested in the mc whether the mc accepts their feelings or not. Once he accepts their feelings its polyamorous which you could also call a harem. Also we don't know how many he ends up with yet not even in the novel but it's not looking good so far... and the novel is also tagged harem btw

@ShadowX The harem isn’t even pivotal to the story nor has it had any effect on it yet you’re saying you’ll drop it because of some slight harem indications

@Jwuak it's not slight at all the indications have been there for a while but I'd be down to come back once it's confirmed it isn't harem ending. If it turns out to be polyamorous I'll just have felt like I wasted my time it's not worth it.

@Jwuak Not pivotal to the story? His harem is nearly the entire main cast. I also dislike harem stories, mainly because I find it objectifying and it often lowers the quality of the story.

@Nelson Mandela it has even changed the way the girls are drawn, expressions and backgrounds especially with this different artist

@ShadowX with all due respect what about this is harem??? Literally only 2 people are possible love interest (Cat & Elf) and the MC stated he has no interest in either of them??? Better yet he has no plan on having any relationship otherwise it would have happened like 50-100 chapters ago. As for females being around him Cat girl, mage(previously guy but died so female mage replaced), and elf( only for a short bit till she found her sister). So pretty much only 2 girls and 3 guys (Bear man, dwarf, and mc).

@Xit 2 are confirmed interested in the mc and 2 possibilities are the mage and barbarian girl, it looks like the mage likes him idk if it's just portrayed bad but whatever total tsundere, the barbarian girl already said she would want to be with him so maybe that's 3 confirmed but it doesn't seem very romantic whatever. That's already enough for it to be tagged harem... I think even 2 is enough to call it harem but technically it's 3 or more...  for it to be tagged harem he doesn't even have to be in a relationship with them they just have to like him and be around him and just the possibility of a harem ending or polyamorous relationship is what makes me stay away from that genre. The mc also hasn't completely rejected them which is what harem mc's do they always leave it ambiguous. It might not end that way but it's not a risk I'm taking any longer.
