@Lelouch vi Britannia Calling me braindead when you're just naive. Didn't even understand my question.
He hasn't even mentioned about creating a guild or tried something to bind these people (who he's giving stuff for free) to him. Does he trust these people THAT much? When he didn't even know them personally? Isn't he afraid of them betraying him and using those power to do evil??
If you think that acting as a charity box in apocalypse is the right thing, then I feel sad for you. You're just gonna get taken advantage of and will eventually turn into a slave*

@Raspberry Plum

Do you even see the GAP in the skills/abilities/experience between the MC and these characters?????????

It's literally the equivalent of Baki Hanma giving a civilian a gun to protect themselves.

If they're really evil, sure. Shi happens. He can easily prevent it. Just like you said, there are evil people out there and they will kill regardless.
If they're good, they finna save people and grow alongside him which in turn save more people.

The good outweighs the bad. Also, Why would he be afraid of them betraying him lmfaooo

The way MC sees it, these "apocalypse" is not even the real apocalypse. The real apocalypse is the Outer Gods invading. For him,These matter SEEMS so insignificant that it's not even worth thinking about BECAUSE Evil or not, in the end, they will still work together if they don't want to die

@Raspberry Plum If looking ahead instead of being tied down to probabilities and anxiety of "wIlL tHeY bEtrAy mE?" is called being naive then I'd rather be one.
