@The Void yea, and I'm pretty sure FL's are also like the MC's wife/girlfriend(and concubines if they have them).

@Johnathan it can also refer to the mc if the mc is female its usually used for love interest but it could be used for say an mc's female friend if they play a massive role in the story.
