@Monster Val is MC. Heinz is one of the people who apprehended MC's mother and turned her over to the local authorities.

Van fought Heinz party directly for 3 times along the story.
the first battle ended with Heinz's party completely defeat. 3 of them, including Heinz, their souls were damaged, Gods helped them to recover.
the second battle was three-ways battle, along with reincarnators' party. Ended with Edgar's soul was devoured by Van. G** help the remaining party escape.
the final battle was the all-in battle. Ended with Deliza's soul was devoured and Heinz's soul was shattered, along with Bellwood's, and Alda divine body was "reset" by Van.

I don't like how Van does this to one party, but not the other. I would get some sort of revenge, yes, but shattering souls is too far.
