@Bookworm 619 Like when they have powers, a guide has the ability to regulate thier powers withtin their body. Probably not the best explanation, so anyone else can add on.

@Bookworm 619 well there are guides and espers, expers is like that Hyung in the beginning of the stories, something evil inside them needing to be 'guided', then there's the guided that guide the people through light , leaving the darkness away, some espers get controlled by their humans like the blonde guy (I think?)
