omegaverse is a parallel universe where it does not matter your gender(male of female) can get pregnant, they can produce feromones which are used to seduce alphas sometimes betas if the scent is too strong, alphas are these dudes who are basically on top of the triangle they are the ones who can impregnate omegas, they used they're feromones to control or seduce omegas, and betas are just normal humans
omegas go into heat each month basically like the period or you can compare it to when a female dog is in heat, when in heat the release a bunch of feromones and are super vulnerable like if an alpha is near them they would want to sleep with them right away since they get super weak to pheromones while in heat, the ways to stop heat is taking suppressants or sleeping with an alpha.
Alphas on the other hand got into rut which is kinda the same but they act as animals who want to devour omegas, the only way to stop it as well is taking suppressants of sleeping with and omega.
BETAS "CANT SATISFY OMEGAS IN HEAT, NOR ALPHAS IN RUT" but in some mangas they sooo yeah.
