@Sayani you're right that comparing trauma is wrong... but if we're gonna do it then how is skylar's worse? skylar was betrayed by his best friend, forced to kiss a rando, and consistently beat up for a few months in middle school. It's terrible - don't get me wrong - but cirrus lost his mom, learned that his dad wishes he died instead, very suddenly lost contact with the only person who cared ab him (auntie/his nanny?), was groomed and sexually assaulted (heavily implied) as a young child by the one person he learned to trust, and was then neglected for the rest of his childhood. Maybe I'm just forgetting some of skylar's trauma??? Idk

@PettycoatReply this really depends on personal opinion. I have abusive parents, ik how bad it is, I've been SA'd too. However Skylar was r@ped, hit again and again, humiliated in front of evryone and forced to leave while most of Cirrus's damage was mental damage. Skylar felt both mental and physical pain on high levels. Both of them were SA'd while Skylar experienced it again and again and pretty probably r@pe too. So yeah, it clearly depends this is just how I see it.

@Sayani I know it was drawn really weird in a way that almost makes it look like Skylar was r*ped by the bullies but I don't think he actually was (unless the author confirmed that somewhere and I missed it). I read the comments and thought it was the general consensus as well. Others made the assumption that he was based on the angles and stuff. I guess that's the main difference bc I don't believe he was ever actually r*ped by them. It doesn't make any sense for extremely homophobic classmates who bullied him for kissing a guy to then fully have s** with him if yk what I mean. Once again they both have trauma so I guess the main difference is just our interpretations of what happened.

@PettycoatReply I'd beg to differ, why is everyone getting this wrong. They were never mad at him for kissing minwoo, they were mad at him because Skylar was a bi*** to them before, they wanted revenge. Now obviously some of them might be homophobic, some may not but that's not the reason. And minwoo also never mentioned "ew y u gay bi***" hes always "I never thought of u this way" "u were like a brother to me" "how could u do this to me". He genuinely thought that he was assaulted and did the same to him. Assaulted him. I don't find where exactly homophobia is interlinked here but because homophobia is so common it's easy to assume. Also they could've just r@pe him as revenge even if they r homophobic. Boys say they r homophobic and grab e/o as*** and moan so. But yeah wtv it might just not be any of it. I'd just not like to go through all that physical trauma that is
