I just realized something... probably the meaning of the Mom's words when she said I will kill him is probably that she might kill him if they are together...
There must be a magical reason that something might happen if she's with him.The words might have been from love and worry but was misunderstood as she wants to kill him, how sad if that's the case. Just my own opinion btw
