the way its shown that as they conquer the floors they unlock upgrades for them selfs and the tower is really making me think that the tower is really just a type of vr game

@Umr Al-Tawil IT DEFO IS. I mean... it's a Korean manga, so ofcourse it is.
I think he kind of ruind it. The tower was always so bizarre, with all these wierd creatures and systems, but the "Family Heads" (should've been called regents or patriarchs or something) were all wierdly normal people, which was more interesting, but stuff about the outside, their human appearance etc, implied a virtual world.
Thing is, SIU seemed smarter than the divs who wrote stuff like "solo levelling", it always seemed to me like they would be scientist/engineers who invented a procedurally generated world and got stuck in it, especially including SIU refecning weapons designed "for use in a vacuum". As if they didn't know what was inside. This would also explain the bizarre randomness of the peoples inside the tower. Way more interesting than the usual Kmanga game nonesense.
But now it's starting to look more and more like a typical isekai video game world story :( . Even the motivations of the "Family Heads" are dull...
also... really wish he'd simplify his artowrk and tell more story. I'mma do a reimagining thingy of TOG

@loop I won't say its a typical isekai game you are talking about, the tower is something more than that.
We don't know the purpose of the tower and the tower still has a lot of depth I don't think the tower is as simple as a game world like other Korean manhwa.
And the art work are mostly done by siu assistants so they are bound to be consistent and non consistent and isn't this flashback a story about traumerei sins or what are you talking about
