Quick summary of the past few chaps here:
Well, so now the Heavenly demon leader decided that the mc who he appointed as the future sect leader (young master) is too dangerous and could overthrow him (mc managed to find the hypnotizing poison, has the support of the left guardian + 3 other elders, and mc has a grudge against the sect leader for basically abandoning his mom, quite a dangerous person I'd say if I was in his position).
So now the sect leader decided not to announce the fact that the mc has been appointed as the successor (cause remember that he really was never officially accepted as one cause of the hectic situation when the clan leader just got back) and the clan leader instead supported both the sword n blade clans so they can sorta keep the mc in check and not let his power grow too much
so now mc's supporters are feeling quite pis*** (understandably so)
And also there's a foreign threat of the something sword clan who is the (suspected) inheritor of the sword demon that trashed the Heavenly demon clan in the past (u know the sword marks on the sapphire pillar and cutting off the arm of the past heavenly demon clan leader (yea that was him))
