🤔 it's quite simple really like how most humans doing existence anyway if something's adorable enough we want to make that creature our pet if it's not then it just ends up becoming someone's next meal

I think the reason he see crayfish as food and not rabbit as food.
It because rabbits has job, act like human, walking on 2 feet. It even have family.
Whereas, crayfish doesn't seem It have intellectual. But they also have potential to be more than just a food.
At the end of the day. The one who decides who is a pet or food is up to the Author .

The logic that I use can still be applied Cuz of the fact that that's the fact of most individuals in any type of existence
The fact that you bring up that some people are still willing to eat rabbits deer Or whatever else Automatically means that those types of individuals didn't find those Creatures Adorable enough to NOT eat them at all
