I was really liking this 1 but it's starting to be a bit much...I mean okay he wants to be a mob or whatever. So why does he always push his views on everybody around him. Earlier with shadow garden just being a giant role-playing group. Now his super serious sister heir of the clan?...is all it ever going to be is an insane overpowered Mc refusing to see anyone for what they are and force them to be like him in his mind.. they only way his character logic can work is if he is literally insane.

@DarkStar Yeah he is insane that's sort of the whole premise of the story.  Remember the stuff he did before even crossing over to this world, it's been that way from the get go.  That said we all see things through our own lense, so everyone projects their own viewpoints on what they see, because that's what in their knowledge base.  To simplify say a pro baseball player is learning a new sport, they will naturally think and compare the new sport to baseball and how it is similar. That's just how our brains work we take the familiar and apply it to the unfamiliar.
So a goth kid would see someone dye their hair and think that kid is so goth or wannabe goth, even though that kid just liked the color purple. Projecting is quite normal, and the opposite of being objective.  This guy is clearly not objective in any way.  Also if you find yourself super powerful in a magical world when you were already a few screws loose, and the stupid stuff you come up with keeps working, delusional self aggrandizing egomania isn't that unrealistic to happen to a person.
Not really a question of whether he is insane or not, it's more just are you sick of the BS or not in the story.  Chapters come out so rarely that it would be hard for me to get that tired of it, frustrated that the story isn't moving along sure.

@DarkStar

Projection is one of the most commonly misused and abused concepts in psychology, to the point psychologists themselves went astray from it and redefine it all the time to try and make it some obscure thing only them are qualified to speak about... but I digress. Psychologists are shams.

There is an expression that totally encompasses it: "they told on themselves", when someone speaks about other people, yet reveals more about themselves by doing so. Typical case of clear projection.
The dramatic aspect of it is that there is no way around it, we absolutely all do it, all the time. Our very choice of words sculpts the frame we interpret the world through. That's why cold-reading and other types of mentalist scams work so well.

@TotallyAbsurd i think u three went way too far to analyze an overused joke
@Mistress Maya why does he thinks his sister is chunni? He himself uses magic, so why can't his sister do some study on magic circles?
@LordAnos so he can ignore the plot, the misunderstanding thing is there for that.
@FuzzyVibe maybe but I don't think it's necessarily wrong I'd like something more. Some kind of growth so to speak, it's literally the same gag/setup every arc. At this point at least for me it's growing stale. 56 chapters in and it's the same tired thing from the Mc. Repeatedly hammering the same gag kills the joke imo.
