But everything I've read online about it has said things like "hold your crutch on the side opposite your recovering leg. Step forward with your strong leg. Step forward with your recovering leg and the crutch in your opposite hand at the same time." I think it's supposed to help with weight distribution (the wider distribution of weight the better) and balance or something
