I love that scene where Gozu went quiet as the ladies flocked Eve. I think it's not like Gozu doesn't feel any jealousy. It's just him putting Eve on a pedestal. He always tells himself, he would openly accept it if it makes Eve happy, which only frustrates Eve even more, hence the situation.
