It bothers me how he can't just say " since it's my novel so blah blah " like why talk about his previous name like it's not even him but a random a** person

@__love I think he's trying to separate who he was and who he is so he doesn't slip up in his current life. Indicating anything about "I have past life memories" in many worlds is path to either the looney bin or full-on exploitation.
