It's not like black-haired guy cheated or left the relationship for his own benefit, he was just stressed since blonde-haired guy' still doing the racing thing (which was something he doesn't want his bf to do anymore??) and he was piled up with patients at the same time.
He's a doctor and it's his job before he knew the blonde-haired guy, and the blonde-haired guy is a racer and it's his job before he knew the black-haired guy so... maybe the black-haired guy can only think of breaking up as a way for them to get back the time and rest they didn't take for themselves.
