theory time so uh I know its kinda off from the episode but like...So i think the mc and 001 were in some kind of relationship before since even after getting their memories erased they still recoginize eachother in some way so what I have recovered from the previous chapters is that 001 was an examinee so i probably think that mc was an examiner and 001 was an examinee and idk maybe mc helped 001 and broke the rules so the system had to erase their memories and its all back to 'normal'.

@Pauzo hmm you have a point. But I don't think it's that. Don't you find it strange that the examiners seem a little too lenient towards the examinees? Not only are they allowed to show themselves to the examiners every few hours but are also free to take and reply to questions asked by the examinees. The only 'warning' they get is their ring blinking red. Isn't that too lenient? You'd assume the system would take more precautions if they had to erase memories just because an examiner broke rules.
