The only thing the mother (Riana)is at fault is she shoul've ask her husband to behave better(i guess she did?not sure)
and not accouse him but still she not at fault since her called husband doen't give a f about her or give her any attenion flirts with other women,calling her ex lover while sleeping ofc i woul've just be suspicious as well.
(i know it's not his fault about calling he's ex lover while sleeping,but if really had forgot about her he wouldnt have any dreams or nightmers about Laura amd woul've gave her wife attenion and love her)
