I feel like the boss's feeling for Ahjin aren't that deep you see if the person who you like and love goes through anything you feel deep sorrow in your heart and when he got to know that Ahjin was not the culprit his reaction was very mild even he was found injured. It must be denial but yeah idk I have read too many BLS where the tops literally cry for their love of their life ✌🏼
