It's not because she's a woman her decisions are simply a bit... unrealistic... not judging a literal comic for being a tad bit unrealistic but there's more to the story that isn't clear to the reader yet. In the end we can just make assumptions. Both female leads are morally in the wrong with some things and have a very weird dynamic.
