His brother probably placed it there do that Jin couldn't get it
@Kishaun you don't remember? 🤔 When he went to that demi-god clan to train again he had to give up on that sword to avoid persuit from Runcandil and Zipfel by proving himself as dead. The sword was then given to acting patriarch aka her mommy and she gave it to her second son
