@Liliane so it was a cute dark ball in the novel? Perhaps got influenced by solo leveling or maybe they're going for a different route? What was everyone's reaction in the novel cause it should be pretty different if the spirit was a cute ball instead of the current badass form?
It wasn't that different, the dark spirit is still considered dangerous no matter what form he takes, the first time he appeared in the novel there wasn't much description about his form (i imagine him as round black cloud) but around chapter 800 or so hoyeol said that he is a round, black cotton ball, his personality is pretty cute there are times when he comes up to hoyeol saying nonsense and ended up getting scolded lol
