dude i swear, i absolutely love when sick and twisted characters are actually just the biggest fuc**** cuties ever and just needed a little tender love and care and the right person to bring out the real them and reflect on everything they've done. this manga not only has the best redemption arc i've seen in a manga, but also one of the most realistic slowburns. especially when we're talking about a former rapist and his former victim. it takes a LONG time for a victim to come around to forgive what they've done, and the skepticism yu had for a while showed he still had trauma from it. but now that taka has been incredibly reflective and put his words into action that he will change and that he really truly likes yu and sincerely apologizes, yu sees the real him, and the real him is someone taka could've really liked under different circumstances. he's growing to unlearn the twisted, troubled, dark storm taka once was, and learning all about the real, sweet, shy, introverted photo-loving taka. it's fuc**** amazing. a better redemption than even BJ Alex, i'd say.
