@John pork Understanding and accepting are two totally different things. This isn't how karma is supposed to work. Especially not how the MC sees himself as responsible for others' misfortune around him. That would be a rediculous. Instead of a cycle of virtue it would be more like spiritual loan sharking. Unpayable compound interest until a soul was completely damned and irredeemable no matter what they tried to do.
