Like what is the point of them being "master" and "servant" If the master can't do anything to control them
At this point l would belive you if you told me he was the servant instead
In the contract he has to do everything g to achieve their revenge and all he gets in return is protection from the trouble they cause him.
And the we could read your mind and we litsin to everything you can deal but he can't do it back is honestly ridiculous
Then there the fact they could harm him like he literally has no control over them
I just don't get what is the point of him being called master when all he is getting back from them is more trouble and danger

@Nino  I am unsure if something has been lost in translation, but servants do not have mind reading powers according to the light novel. They only have enhanced hearing. The protagonist mumbles to himself a lot, so the servants can hear that clearly.

I just wanted to mention this little bit of trivia because some scenes may not make sense otherwise. Like for example, why servants can "mind read" some of the time, but are clueless about the protagonist's thoughts in other moments. Since necromancers are a summoning type of class, their servants need to be able to hear their master's command from far away.
