@Pie It is that easy. Physical proof was extremely rare back then so testimony was proof, as it still is obviously, there's not going to be forensic evidence of someone being a witch. There is a witness, the 3rd most irrefutable witness in the country. The testimony of a princess would be condidered fool proof evidence unless the the King himself contradicted her. She would not have to prove Anita is a witch, Anita would have to prove she is not a witch. She doesn't even have to say she is a witch, she can just say she attacked her, which she did, and call the guards over.
This never happens in these stories because it is boring and for some reason main characters rarely use their authority.
