@Liiii @Liiii it wasn't confirmed that the man killed was the mc's dad, but either way, he was abusive, but that doesn't mean that the mc didn't still have some sort of emotional connection to his father. typically in abusive households the child still loves the parent no matter what they do, because they cling onto the small chance that their abuser will change for the better. our mc also shows this kind of behavior towards jiseong (is that how you spell it??), even after the guy nonconsentually did the deed with him and would act posessive and toxic towards him, the mc still cared about him/"loved" him.
