@Lop your naive fellow reader, Why is eve curse still active even after the former head of the family had die ? Why did benjamin let the red head bi*** hurt mc only to show up after with sweet words like a knight in shiny armor ? Why did he let the bi*** have eve slave contract and never took it from her and tore apart to free eve ? Why did he never told eve the true about why was her family killed ? Can you guess now why i said your naive ?

@Lop although I see the spoileres I assume Eve knew nothing at this moment and she just did an egoistic choice, choosing childhood sweetheart instead of person who was there for her (or made it seems so)

@AlexK because they made a contract... eve already was a slave b4 benjamin and eve even met..  benjamin made an offer to the red girl, if the red girl become the empress, benjamin can have eve slave contract.. atp don't u dare babying the mc, ik she's a complex character but the author made her seems like a daughter of mary sue. her personality is kinda bland and boring. u should be calling mc naive instead ngl. she made a choice without sec thoughts about it. she only thinks about her dear childhood friends because she thinks he's handsome and pitiful.. that's all. i do think mc needs a redemption for all of that abuse but it feels so freaking rush just because that benjamin dude killed the former head and the empress. so it kinda ruin the redemption arc at this point. and about benjamin never told eve about the truth of her family is because he wants eve to completely rely everything to him, so he can manipulate eve to become his. Even if benjamin wants to take the slave contract away from the red hair girl, he absolutely cannot take it away just like that. the red hair girl was adopted by the former head, and chose eve/yvonne to become her slave. the red hair girl had the right to take actions if her slave was completely taken by someone, unless it was break by the higher authorities.

The only power she have, is what was allowed to her by another person, who is now dead. Plus i don't get why you commented all of that ? I knew already, but what i commented is that the fellow reader up there, was naive, plus without giveing any spoilers, so i don't get your point on all of that ?
