@Random commenter Zhuo Fan was in Emperor realm and was part of a 8 emperors group who ruled half of sacred domain. But the 10 ancient emperors were above emperor realm( they don't have name of that realm) who have understood the dao, something like great emperor of Martial peak. There are only ten spots for the ancient emperor and you have to be the best in specific dao if you want to become one or you can kill one and take something like seed from within them and become one.
