@Starsing so I'm not fluent in Korean, and I haven't seen the raws, but hyung(older brother) isn't just for blood relations. Sorta like how girls will use oppa for boys older than them, often those they have crushes on.

Just a different linguist norm that doesn't really have a direct English equivalent. Well. Actually. I guess perhaps maybe like when women call men daddy? (Though tbf, I do consider tht weird haha
