Each chapter took me 30 minutes. 10 for reading each chapter(with crying), 5 for tissue breaks, 5 more for sitting in silence, and 10 for crying after each chapter.
This is, and forever will be my favorite Manhua, including manhwas and mangas. As much as I hate Adolph, I pity him. At first I hated him with all my heart, but now im glad he realized his mistake, that he repents himself for what he's done. It was truly unfortunate for Lewis and Ivan, right person wrong time. The amount of times I've cried for this manhua, reading and after, is honestly just too much. I feel broken after this. I'll come back to edit this after rereading after a while.
(edit: Just found out Adolph committed suicide 4 years after this, g** did that make me cry even more. Time to reread 🥲 suffer with me)
