@pi He did say if dagger is stabbed at the vulnerable spots then it can one shot enemies. I think he is talking about an armoured Enemy thats why he counted 5-6 stabs with a dagger. A  longsword can slice any kind of armour if strike at the right angle with adequate power so yeah Sword can one shot armoured opponents. But if the enemy has no protection then it just takes a swift move to finish the enemy. Both of you are correct.

@Walm bro, an armor is mostly, the plate + a chainmail + a letherarmor, and they were made so that you wont get sliced with a sword, they could even protect you from axes. the only real weakness of a full armored knight is its wight, as soon as he falls, he is like a turtle.
but yes, with a sword you have some small chances to kill an armored knight, if you hit hard and strong enough at the joints of the armor, its their only weak spot ather than the wight.
and with a dagger, a realy slimm one, you have better chances to kill of the knight if you stabb trought the rings of the chainmal in the joints od the plate armor, than you have with a sword.
but the best chance to 1shot a knight in full plate have you with a big pickaxe, it focuses its full wight and power on a small spot and can pirce trought the plate, the chain and the lether.
@Walm Daggers are the number one way to kill armoured opponents. The knights of the middle ages would duel with polearms or swords until one of them fell or left an opening, and then finish them with a dagger slipped between the plates or joints. Bigger doesn't mean more deadly, but bigger is still advantageous in a different way. If you get stabbed in the throat, any weapon will kill you, but it's the stabbing in the the throat part that's difficult. A weapon with a short range like a dagger has a massive disadvantage against a sword or spear because closing the distance without getting stabbed in the process is extremely difficult.
