so ml and mc appeared reallyy close to giselle and she didn't like it so she gave the ml a condition that in order to get married to her he needs to break off his friendship w mc and couldn't even see mc. this was the reason why ml came to korea. because for him it wasnt either giselle or mc, it's just that he couldnt live without mc in general
