Last pieces of advice : don't get your hopes high, don't be/act like famished dog, don't be impatient nor egoist (=be mature) and choose the right TPO for both of you to be at ease yet enjoying the moment -- might sounds weird but not all rejections or breakups taste bitter nor be bad memories 😉
(I've had a colleague who even threw an anniversary party with her ex husband a year after the divorce, both of them having found new partners and still complice (=strong agreement and trust) on how to raise the kids they had before divorce. The young son even pouted because he was twice more "surveilled" -- since step-parents had the right to scold him the same way as his (blood-) parents 😂)
