I remember how back then I got irritated at the red eyed vamp, thinking why he dosn't just kill the kid. I mean he's a vamp why waste his time trying to instill fear when you already drank blood, meaning he would be stronger than he was before he turned. But know that I know about vampire lore and mannerisms I understand that vamps would have to satiate the beast within. Trully fascinating, went from not knowing much about the masqurade to experiencing the lore, which made rereading this again so much better.
