@Le*** it's actually an easy plot to understand but due to the story being in game verse some might find it confusing. To put in simple words, this manhwa is about a game Dreadful Night a typical teen-age horror game. Our MC here stucked in this game. For a long time that he's not even flinch if he died. Our ML on the other end is determine to stay with MC but he kept hiding something from other.
So to explain what's happening now, all of this NPC became Players when they insert their respective tapes. Bada didn't enter the game yet. All of them died numerous time to get 1 ending. So they decided to ahut their tape and reset back to NPC forgetting all the painful memories. On-the-other hand, Seongchan(glass guy) and Doha(MC) Has been together but due to some unstated fact they went their separate ways. Now Bada(green hair) needed to be very sneaky in order to understand what our MC(Doha) been doing. YongTaek(red hair) wanted to shut off after sharing all the clues and the things he knew.
@Le*** Season 1- Pi Bada (MC) has been trying to escape the game he was isekaied into by completing all the endings. He doesn't know if this is the way out, but it's all he has to hope for. Nam Doha (ML) is an NPC Pi Bada caught killing a townie NPC, so Pi Bada tried to avoid him, but him actively doing so made him more conspicuous and Nam Doha caught on. Nam Doha discovers that he can keep his memories between saves too, after he found a cassette player in one of the maps they went to. Eventually, the two decide to work together to gather all the possible death endings: Pi Bada because he wants to escape the torment and Nam Doha because he's intrigued and ho*** for Pi Bada. They fu** a lot. A major plot point was the idea that any NPC could potentially become a "player" as long as they stuck a cassette tape into a player long enough for it to register as a save. Bae Hyungshin (tall, blueish hair guy) had a whole arc where he pseudo remembered previous playthroughs, but his memories were incomplete because the cassette that saved his memories wasn't out in long enough and ejected before it was fully read. Pi Bada and Nam Doha decided that it was best to just not have him participate at all and prevented him from "saving" anymore by taking the tape from him during the car ride. The season ends with Nam Doha being suspicious of Pi Seongchan (short guy with glasses) and merking him. (Part 1 of 2)
Season 2: Pi Bada and Nam Doha are still fuc**** a lot and exploring maps that are suspiciously empty of items to loot and puzzles already finished. Nam Doha uses this to his advantage to do some sleuthing on his own and to fu** Pi Bada. A lot. They find a tape and, out of curiosity, set it to play. A bit later, Park Yong Taek (himbo) reveals to Pi Bada that he was a player originally and they were partners, but he can't remember everything they've done. Pi Bada is suspicious and Nam Doha is slowly revealing his yandere side and is only "suspicious" because Park Yong Taek is very handsy with Pi Bada. We are currently finding out that there are multiple cassette players and each tape can hold multiple player memories. Also, everyone is actually a real person who were isekaied long before Pi Bada joined and they had been playing as a group before the monotony and psychological horror of dying over and over got to them all. Bae Hyungshin, Jae Seob (Bae Hyungshin's pretty twink), and apparently Park Yong Taek all decided to stop their cassette tapes so it wouldn't save their memories anymore. Nam Doha and Pi Seongchan continued, but something happened that made them both quit playing with each other. Of note, Pi Seongchan seemingly returned Park Yong Taek to player status and him and a then freshly isekaied Pi Bada formed a trio trying to solve this game. During this time, Pi Seongchan kept insisting to Park Yong Taek that there is something wrong with Nam Doha and to stay away from him. He also kept threatening to switch out Park Yong Taek for Nam Doha as he is "a better partner".
If you have more questions, feel free to ask, I'm unnecessarily super into the lore of this world and am keeping track of a lot of things, lol. (Part 2 of 2)
