She thinks that he realized that he that he can't be the one to save her now that she's escaped. Now that she's escaped, she's lost her purpose and reason to survive and she's wonders what is important to her right now. As if reading her thoughts, he tells her what's important is that whatever she is trying to do is what he is trying to do. He then mocks her asking if she's going to revive the Leyla. She asks him didn't he want to be the perfect emperor.

He tells her it's pretty good if she takes over the empire. She says she's not joking but he just asks can he just be there (with her). She realizes as she stares at his face that he's not brainwashed. She nods and the heart she thought she had killed begins to beat again.

They make their way through the temple carefully and come across a lot of bones. At first they think they're from the people that Leyla followers kidnapped and experimented on. But Callisto then pauses and says no this is the Leyla tomb. As Penelope looks up she recognizes it's similar to the room Vinter showed her and then sees the mirror. She begins to run towards it. Monsters begin to attack and Callisto fights them off telling her to go first. She gets to the mirror and touches it triggering the quests completion and offering to show her the truth. Light bursts out of the mirror and Callisto screams out to her.

It gives her the opening credits to the game. A golden dragon once ruled over the world which lived in peace and harmony. At the end of its life it left behind one fang for the humans. Darkness sprung from the ground calling themselves gods. They formed a country and brutally slaughtered the humans however they were defeated by the ancient wizards. A brutal battle ensued but the Leyla were becoming more powerful - they were stealing life. The Leyla attacked the ancient mirror and managed to break a small corner of it into 15 pieces. Some of these pieces were hidden in the tomb of the golden dragon. But despite the attack, the mirror still activated and sealed the the spirits of the Leyla.

But one young Leyla survived hiding deep underground. This Leyla grew seeking revenge. It overtook different bodies but the more lives it stole the more it lost its essence. A voice jumps in saying "to be perfect you must go to the imperial palace." This Leyla collected the scattered the pieces of the mirror and deceived its prey. Fortunately the curse on the wizards had weakened them (shows scenes of wizards being murdered). Then one day the Leyla found the perfect body for entering the young palace and grew into a beautiful young girl. She begun to spin her web and catch her prey with one of them taking her back to the house. But in the house was a young girl named Penelope were the ancient blood of wizards still flowed. She instinctively tries to warn against Yvonne and tries to kill the leyla but because of the curse she is rejected by the people and fails, easily dying.
