@DUKE_ALDEN My understanding was that after he got beat, his dantian as destroyed. he now has ptsd due to 'running away' which physically and pshycologically damaged him. i dont think he lost his memory, but certain memoriesmay have been repressed to help deal withhis trauma

@DUKE_ALDEN No he is just pussified, like he was a wimp before, but now it is on a different level. This manhwa took the complete opposite approach compared to Nano Machine, Heavenly Demon Reborn, Record of the War G** and a couple more. The MC has the personality of a beta loser, and the presence of a plastic chair, so it kinda plays into the fantasy of the losers who read this thing. He**, I can't remember but there is manhwa that ended recently (In the last 6 months), where the MC was also extensively taught arts, philosphy etc. but wasn't a total, complete herbivore.

@Rk come on man! This manhwa have taken very practical approach. This has shown great deal of reality. First of all the manhwa you mentioned are different than this. As you could see MC was the scholar who got into sword because of Prince whom he was serving but fallen in love or something more than love. His background was very humble and laid back type. He never faced situation like open killing , robbery and people or martial artists cutting eachother infront of normal folks or something like that. He didn't face any situation like war in his area or where he was grown. The manhwa has been slow but have very practical and realistic approach. Come on bro, how would you react if you loose someone close one or friends infront of your eyes and you could not be able to do anything about it. Have ever seen dying person in front of you? The helpless and weakness of that time will traumatized you for your rest of life. 
I know I'm going out of topic and context. I'm apologies. I know this manhwa is not fulfilling your taste but it is not bad one. Please respect the author for his work.

Idk if you went through something but I don't think you've seen your best friend, who you considered a brother die in front of you when nearly every person you knew was dying off somewhere. Neither did I, but I at least understand the fact that if it did happen to someone they'd be very f*cking depressed and not go be edgy and "farm aura" or whatever the f*ck you want him to do. If you want a non emotional and generic manhwa go read SL or nano machine.

@Viewer 7 Hmm, so the default behaviour is getting tossed around like a fking piece of garbage, and when people are hitting you, you just take it, and the MINIMAL, normal, instinctive human response of defending yourself is "aura farming"? You understand that there are opposite courses of action, but there is middle ground betwen them right ? How do you not see that the MC is a total pu*** ? I don't get it.
