@M_owMeow it really could've just been a normal cowboy story but the fact the story is happening during the civil war and everybody seems to brush it off like.. It's getting weird and the whole "yall are free now here's some money" if that doesn't scream white savior to anyone idk what does

@Cam EXACTLYY like i’m fine with a cowboy story but the fact that their fetishizing slavery is disgusting. It killed millions people of color and still affects america, especially with the state of our country now with ICE and MAGA. The people getting excited over this is gross and shows how low their standards are for Bl.

@M_owMeow I just want to say that reading a fictional story that includes slavery, whether it's a yaoi story, a historical novel, or any other genre, does not automatically mean you support slavery in real life. It's common for people to enjoy things in fiction that they would strongly oppose in reality. Many people enjoy stories involving crime, war, manipulation, or dangerous relationships without wanting those things to happen in real life. There isn't a moral rule that says you can't read a story because it contains slavery. The important distinction is between consuming fictional content and endorsing real world exploitation. That being said, only 1 chapter is out so we still need to see where this story takes us.

@Miaki_ Girl…I’m gonna be as nice as possible here but literally in the story he said “i’m your humble slave master” it’s obvious this is just fetish slop…I understand people aren’t as educated in slavery bcs of the schools teaching nothing but s*t abt it but…The white guy is obviously portrayed as a white savior and “i’m not that bad! I let my slaves free!” they aren’t portraying slavery in its true light. They killed, 🍇, wore the skin, and ATE my people…I’m not reading any of this s*t that FETISHES my ancestors trauma. Anyone who reads this s*t is utterly disgusting

@M_owMeow if we're gonna talk about fetishizing people then people should not read BL period. As most stories are written by women, for women. That in itself should make others not read these type of stories as we are fetishizing gay men when alot of people who read this are young women(girls unfortunately as well). Fictional stories are one thing and the intent behind reading something is another. I dont think anyone actually agrees with slavery but can still take their personal feelings about it and still "enjoy" a story. If you cannot do that, that is perfectly fine as well, but judging people on here from your soap box, I hope you don't read any material that can be considered fetishizing of real life people.

@FluffyBLNug I agree that a lot of Bl is just a fetish for women and that it’s a problem. But that’s a whole other conversation, I’m talking about the fetishizing of slavery in THIS manhwa. I find it weird how you can read all of these comments in the story and take from it “Well we can take away our feelings and enjoy this story!” I know most bl fans don’t have standards anymore they just want to see two guys have s*x, but I feel like this is becoming a problem in the industry now. It’s also weird how your thinking that I read bl material of real people???? and also the reason why I am judging is because the people in these comments have such low disgusting standards that their reading something like this and getting sad that they can’t see these two characters have butt s*x 😭 i’d also like to mention your name is FluffyBlnug while your trying to act on your high horse about this stuff.
