I don't think minyoung wanted to do anything bad to cheol seeing how obsessed he is with him, he prolly just wanted cheol's father to know about their relationship and was trying to ease into the topic
BUTTTT what he did was wronggg he should've discussed it with cheol beforehand and not dive head first into outing him to his possibly homophobic father
It's not that he isn't taking accountability, he himself doesn't realise what he did was wrong but then again he did say he won't repeat the same mistake again. He keeps talking about how cheol was the one who left him and ran away. Cheol would've prolly been dead rn if he hadn't said minyoung's name in his sleep at that time. Maybe young minyoung blamed cheol for leaving him caz he didn't realise he caused cheol so much trauma but maybe after growing up he did realise he made a mistake but since it's been in his mind for years, he can't decide who to blame.
Or maybe the "not repeating the same mistake" was just letting cheol run away and now he won't let him leave again and he still doens't realise his fault
