Maybe I didn't notice before, but isn't this religious camp (basically a prison) closely similar to the Christian religion? (Not necessarily in practice, but it seems to depict symbols unique to the religion)
There's also the chance I'm seeing things. But if this is true, I feel it paints a picture in a reader's mind about specific religions without giving them the chance to try for themselves.
