also.... yeah, it's a freak4freak "they deserve each other" situation alright, both traumatized to hell and back and cope with it by tormenting each other instead of doing therapy. i'm not letting taekyung off the hook even for a moment. he shouldn't have allowed for this behavior and relationship to happen but he did because he secretly enjoys it (and likely loathes himself for it). still. heeseo might be more outwardly manipulative and completely devoid of morality and empathy and respect for taekyung's bodily autonomy but all taekyung's doing is endorsing all of it. which is of course intriguing, otherwise there wouldn't be a plot.
