I have a theory what if the the male body of daisy that was killed is with this red head dude and he is trying get it to resurrect him
And lu is Mephisto who was freed from some sort of curse by daisy killing him and is now trying to help her health her soul which would explain why he knew Dian cecht who died before daisy was born
If daisy started pretending to be male since 15 and lived as male for 14 years then 4 more and now living as maid and has 3 years left she is at least 33 then Lu is at least 33 years older than her
