No a relationship between people of wide age gap isn't called grooming. It's what happens during that relationship that can be described as grooming. Grooming can still take place with an age gap of one to two years. Grooming really has not much to do with age gaps, it's just that the wider the age gap, the easier it is for the person older to groom the person younger.
