I'd read the comments and it seems to be a false belief that obsession is love. They become obsessed with him because he is the one who puts an end to their abuses, they see him as a toy they own, like an object they can always take a reaction from and when he gets enough and leaves them they don't accept it and become obsessives. Eunsung needs to love himself more.
